In this little coastal desert town spring remains at least two hours away. Much like a mirage that never seems to actualize.
The desert doesn’t do spring and seasonal rules don’t apply.
We tread somewhere between misty, cold , windy and excruciating heat, usually in the winter so as we head in to spring our winter just begins to kick in. It will be here until December if we’re lucky. But, and there should always be a but, summer is just a few hours away. And that is part of the beauty of this place.
